Casa Mandorlo, or "almond tree house" in English, is a complex of three houses in Stromboli, Sicily. The island is volcanic, which is its main characteristic. Crystal blue sea, beaches, and an incredible view of the volcano are just some of the sights here. The house is 5 minutes from the sea and immersed in nature.

Facing Competition

The Eolie Islands are a very touristic place, making the competition tough to stand out. With numerous accommodations vying for the attention of visitors, distinguishing Casa Mandorlo from the rest was no small feat. The challenge was to create a unique identity that would capture the essence of Stromboli while offering an unforgettable experience.

A Vision of Wild Luxury

Create something original that combines the wildness of this place with a sense of luxury. The goal was to craft an experience that marries the untamed beauty of the island with sophisticated comfort. Highlighting the unique features of the area, such as the iconic almond tree, the big volcano, and the clear sea. The aim was to let guests feel both the rough charm and the calm luxury of Casa Mandorlo.

Result

Crafting an Authentic Identity

The result is a visual identity characterized by organic and rough shapes that match the wildness of the island. The color palette includes a deep sea blue, a bright yellow sun, and a light beige, reflecting the island's environment. The logo is very symbolic and represents a combination of key factors: volcano, sea, and almond tree. This emblematic design weaves together the distinctive elements of the location.
